After the Second World War, thousands of Holocaust survivors found refuge in Berlin as Displaced Persons. Together with the We Refugees Archive, we will look at the fate of Jewish DPs as a whole as well as their specific significance for Berlin. The researchers Prof. Atina Grossmann (The Cooper Union, New York) and Dr. Miriam Schulz (University of Toronto) will present this special chapter of European post-war history.
