Natalie Amiri: Afghanistan. Unconquered Yet Defeated
Afghanistan. Unconquered Yet Defeated
Book Premiere with Natalie Amiri
100 days after the Taliban took power in the summer of 2021, journalist Natalie Amiri travelled to Afghanistan, a country abandoned by the West. What does the return of the Taliban mean for the Afghan population? What future does the country face? Why has the flight movement expected in Europe failed to materialise so far? With her book, the author gives Afghans a voice and also tells the stories of the people, primarily women, who have to leave their country.
