An Evening For Sudan

PANEL CONVERSATION
Almost unnoticed by the public, one of the world’s greatest humanitarian tragedies is unfolding in Sudan. Countless lives have been lost in the civil war, and millions have been displaced..
In April 2025, the war in Sudan will mark its second anniversary—yet the catastrophe remains overshadowed by other global conflicts. This is more than a local dispute; it is a brutal war involving local, national, and international actors responsible for thousands of severe human rights violations and horrific violence against civilians. Women and children, in particular, are suffering the most. What makes Sudan so significant? Why should this war matter to us in Germany? And what needs to happen now to save millions of lives?
We will explore these urgent questions on April 9, 2025, in a high-profile event featuring experts and distinguished guests from politics, media, society, and culture.
