Worte verbinden

In our writing workshop ‘Connecting with Words’, we will explore the topic ‘Textile Memories’ – inspired by the new gallery exhibition of the artist Varvara Keidan Shavrova. Textiles tell stories: of home, of displacement and new beginnings, of loss and solidarity. They preserve memories, often hidden between the threads.

Together we explore the exhibition and draw inspiration from the exhibits, the materials and the stories behind them. Then we take up the pen ourselves and bring our thoughts to life – be it in the form of stories, poems or short fragments.

Our words become bridges: between languages, memories and biographies. The writing workshop creates a space in which creativity and dialogue are in the foreground. Here you can experiment with words, share inspiration and learn from each other.

The writing workshop will be held in German, English and Polish. You can write in the language you feel most comfortable with.
