Filmscreenings and discussion – Binge Watching – Draw for Change
A documentary series about female cartoonists from around the world who break with the taboos of their society. With their art, they fight for freedom of expression, feminism and justice. For them, their drawings are more than moving stories, because they show realities that women experience every day. Due to their fight to change societies, some of them have to flee and risk their lives. This six-part documentary series takes us on a journey into the world of these courageous women.

In doing so, Dokumentale offers a unique festival experience on and beyond the cinema screen in Berlin, with plenty of space for exchange.
From 14 to 19 October, we warmly invite you to four extraordinary film screenings that will take place at our company as part of this festival.
